a graduate of Kean University where he received a Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Music Education and received his Masters degree in Teaching
from Marygrove College. Mr. Lorenzetti has taught the award winning
LHS Marching Band since 1992. He became Assistant Director in 1996,
and took over as the Marching Band Director in 2000. He also directs
the Linden High School Stage Band, Concert Band, Musical Theatre,
and Touring Troupe. Mr. Lorenzetti has directed LHS's productions
of Grease, Peter Pan for which he received a Rising Star Honorable
Mention for Musical Direction, The Music Man, Bye Bye Birdie and
Mame.
Matt played soprano with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps for five
years, where he was section leader and a featured soloist. In his
free time Mr. Lorenzetti is a professional trumpet player who enjoys
giving private lessons and playing for holiday and wedding ceremonies.
. Matt studied trumpet privately for many years with Jack Trager
of Union and Phillip Ruecktenwald, principle trumpet player of the
City Opera, NY. |
